Hello, I would like to take a moment to tell you who I am and what makes me an expert in telling you about cigars. To start I’m no expert, just want to put that out there right now. I am a lover and enjoyer of fine cigars and I want to share my passion with you.

A good friend and I came up with the idea for this site so that we may enhance your smoking experience. We found a lack of informative sites that gave a non-biased view into the cigar world. So here we are! Lets start with me. I’m 27 years old, just out of the Army National Guard, and looking for good work in a bad economy. I’ve been happily married for 5 years now and … but so as not to bore you with little details lets just say I’m a average guy. No more no less. I started smoking cigars when I was about 20. I started because it reminded me of my grandfather who passed away when I was 5 years old. I was sitting with my boss in the back room of the pet shop that I worked for at the time when he lit an Arturo Fuente. The smell of that cigar brought back so many wonderful memories of my late grandfather. So started my new found love of cigars. 

Now that you know a little more about me let me tell you what I’m going to be doing for you. At least once a week I will be reviewing a cigar and posting it on the site. Also I’ll be informing you about different cigar events and the people I talk with at these events. It’s just that simple. In addition I invite you to ask me questions and share your thoughts on cigars. If there is a cigar you want to see a review on don’t hesitate to speak up. Just remember “It’s simply about the cigar.”
